PLANNING BLOG POST

BLURRED SUBJECT

To take this picture I would use a slow shutter speed. With a tripod, I could stabilize my camera to make sure that it doesn't move. I would use rule of thirds in my shot.

FROZEN MOTION

I will use a fast shutter speed and compose my shot in rule of thirds. A tripod is not necessary for this shot.

LIGHT WRITING

While using a slow shutter speed, or the camera on BULB, I can capture the light moving. I could use different colored lights for a more creative shot. Using a tripod would allow for the picture to look better.

PANNING

I would need to use a slow shutter speed. I will move the camera with the subject's motion.

ZOOMING

By using a tripod, capturing the shot would be easier. Slow shutter speed will be used. Zooming in or out will achieve this technique.

Lighting Final

Abby is important in my life because she is one of my best friends. We have been good friends ever since elementary school and we are next-door neighbors. These pictures are a good portrayal of her personality because she is funny. She will always make you laugh. She can also be serious when necessary. This unit has made me take notice of lighting more when shooting pictures. I believe it has made my pictures better, because I now understand more of what a good photograph looks like.
